About Speaker & Teacher James Scott Berry

James Scott Berry was born in Aiken, South Carolina and moved to Atlanta, Georgia when he was ten years old.  Encouraged to pursue music by his high school chorus teacher, James MacRaney,  Scott  attended Western Carolina University on scholarship where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance.  He also studied cello and conducting at WCU and played cello with the Ashville symphony.  He later earned a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Baylor University in Waco, Texas as well as a Master of Teaching Arts degree from Lehman College in NYC. 
 
Scott has worked as a professional opera singer, performing more than 30 opera and oratorio roles.  He founded two community music societies in the the suburbs of Atlanta and was the Artistic Director and Conductor for two community choral groups and an orchestra. 

He taught voice and strings and conducted two choirs and two orchestras at Pensacola Christian College in the early ninety's. Scott has worked as a church music director since 1981.
 
He has composed 11 unique hymn arrangements for full orchestra and voice.
 
 
James Scott Berry formed Clear Truth Ministries to share the life-changing truths of Biblical forgiveness that he began studying with his father in 1980. Since then, he has continued an in-depth study through library and internet research as well as one on one discussions with ministers, theologians, Rabbis, Greek Priests, and other Christian ministers and scholars across the country.  Scott is one of the world's  leading experts in the area of Biblical Forgiveness. He gladly welcomes friendly discussion, debate, disagreement and criticism.

He presents the HEART HEALING SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS and is working a Bible study series concerning the many issues of Biblical LOVE, MEEKNESS AND FORGIVENESS.
